She studied at the National School of Music at the UNAM, -México City, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UAQ -Querétaro, and also Chemical Engineering at La Salle University -México City. She has taken master classes and ateliers with Mauricio Beltrán, Costas Cotsiolis, Sergio Assad, Gonzalo Salazar, Juan Carlos Laguna, Jorge Ritter, Icarus Ensamble, Juan Luis de Pablo Enriquez Rohen, Victor Rasgado, Iván Manzanilla, Horacio Franco, Emil Awad, Rogelio Sosa, among others. Her music has been performed in México, United States, Switzerland, France, Serbia and Greece.
Actually she teaches counterpoint, acoustics and contemporary music at the Conservatory of Music "José Guadalupe Velásquez", acoustics at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Querétaro, and music, acoustics, art history, esthetics, chemistry and physics at the Del Valle de México University, campus Querétaro.
